This recipe is in no way, shape, or form good for you.
But hey, what's life without a little splurging from time to time?
I don't always drink sweetened flavored iced coffee, but when I do it's definitely this.
Definitely this one.
Holy Moses, is it good. The first time I had it was when I went to this restaurant and one sip sent my hair flying back and my shoes shot off.
Okay, that's an exaggeration, but still.
It is so wonderfully, deliciously good.
*I used a Guatemalan blend for this recipe. It's a smooth, light blend that is just right for this iced drink.
1. Blend or vigorously stir the room-temperature brewed coffee with the sweetened condensed milk. Blend or stir until the two are completely mixed and the evaporated milk has completely dissolved.
2. Add the cinnamon, cardamom, and fresh mint. Stir to combine.
3. Allow the coffee to sit for 5-10 minutes to let the flavors meld. (Better yet, if you have the time, store the mixture overnight in the fridge and enjoy the next day. Stir well before serving.)
4. Pour over ice and enjoy.
Happy Monday, friends!
