Packing up a house.
Moving across the country.
Gonna eat me a lot of peaches...
Okay, sorry. I get distracted sometimes.
Packing is a pain. Moving is a pain. I like anything that makes these two things less of a pain.
Somehow I came across this grand idea. I have since been unable to locate the origin of this idea (I'm sure I saw it on Pinterest somewhere), so I therefore cannot give credit where credit is due to the brilliant person that came up with this, but nonetheless, person-who-came-up-with-this, my hat is off to you.
Until now, packing up my jewelry has always been a tricky, hot mess. Necklaces got tangled, some beloved jewelry broke, the backs of earrings went missing...oh, the annoyance. So this idea is a gem (heh heh heh). Grab some Press'n Seal and go to town. Or across town. Or across the country like we are. This would work great for vacations, too!
Packing Jewelry Using Press'n Seal
1. Measure out a long piece of Press'n Seal, tear, and lay it on a flat surface, STICKY-SIDE UP.
2. Lay your selected jewelry on one half of the sheet. Make sure you leave room around the edges and in between each piece of jewelry.
3. Fold the Press'n Seal together and seal around the edges as well as in between each piece of jewelry.
4. Store in a container with a tight-fitting lid, layering sealed jewelry on top of each other.
And that's it! Huzzah! So much better than untangling or ruining pieces. I'm all about that.
p.s. Nobody paid me for this post. You know, in case you were wondering. I just wanted to share something that made my life easier in hopes that it might benefit you!
