Thank you, Becky, for bringing your goodness and zeal for life to us today.
When Ashley first asked me if I was interested in being a part of this series, I was definitely hesitant. I'm by no means a photographer. In fact, in my job, taking pictures is kind of important...and I'm terrible at it. So at first I didn't say anything... but then I realized it doesn't matter if I'm some great photographer or not- it's about making the choice to be thankful.
Here's to remembering to be thankful.
I'm thankful for this precious boy, and that I get to be his sister.
I'm thankful for my mom, who loves me unconditionally and who has always supported my crazy ideas of moving across the world.
I'm thankful for an amazing step-father, who took me in as one of his own.
I'm thankful that loving people gets to be my job.
I'm thankful for the chance I get every day to love on kids who really need some extra love.
I'm thankful for nature, and all the beautiful sights I've been able to see at a young age.
I'm thankful that love knows no borders.
I'm thankful for the opportunity to be able to call this place home. To be able to learn its culture. To get to know its people. To fall in love with it more and more everyday.
